1. What is quartz ?
Ans. Quartz counter top material is 93% pure quartz crystal ( crushed quartz).
The quartz is mixed with high quality poly – resins and color pigment, and then compacted.
It is constructed under intense pressure, and vibrated.
2. Is Quartz a smooth surface like other solid surface materials?
Ans: Yes, Quartz is pressed into dense non-porous slabs and cured. It is polished to a bright shine.
3. What is the difference between 2 cm and 3 cm? What is the most appropriate thickness for the tops?
Ans: The 2 cm thick quartz is approximately 3/4" thick. The 3 cm is approximately 1 ¼” thick, and can range from 1-3/16" to 1 5/16" thick. We recommend using the 3 cm quartz for kitchen countertops for both aesthetic reasons and structural reasons.
4. What kind of edges are available for quartz countertops?
Ans: We offer the eased edge, radius edge, demi bull nose, half and full bull nose, bevel and ogee edges. If you are interested in other edge profiles, we are pleased to discuss them with you.
5. Is my quartz countertop backed by a warranty?
Ans. Yes the manufactures of quartz provide a full replacement warranty from 15 years to a lifetime. You will be provided detailed warranty information with your quote
6. Why do I have to have seams in my countertop and what do they look like?
Ans: Slab size determines the need for seaming. One slab may not be large enough for the entire length of the countertop. The weight of the material may dictate that seams are inserted so that the structural integrity of the materials is not jeopardized. The cabinet structure, placement of the cook tops, or other cutouts may determine the location of seams. Safe hauling from the shop to your home might affect seams.
Don’t worry; our experienced installers will make your seam virtually invisible.
7. What influences pricing of a quartz countertops?
Ans: There are several variables that affect the pricing of quartz. The material is priced by the square foot, and the prices are dependent on the product's color and availability. The prices are set by the manufacture. We have no control over that price.
8. Can I choose the Quartz slab that will be used for my countertop?
Ans: No it is not necessary because quartz is man-made and the color and pattern is consistent,
through out each slab. The sample is exactly what you will see on your counter top.
9. Can Quartz be used in food preparation areas?
Ans: Quartz is an excellent product for use in kitchens and other food preparation areas. It is virtually stain, chip, scratch, and burn resistant.
10. Can you cut on quartz?
Ans: Quartz is an extremely tough, durable material and can be used as a cutting surface without fear of scratching the top.

11. Can you set hot pans on Quartz
Ans: Quartz is ideal for kitchens because it will not burn, and it will not be harmed by hot pans or open flames.
12. Does Quartz chip or scratch?
Ans: Quartz is a very dense material and it is chip and scratch resistant.
13. Should Quartz be sealed?
Ans No. it is maintenance free
14. Can you remove our old countertop?
Ans. Yes, our installation crew can do this job.
15. Can you disconnect and reconnect the electric, gas and electric?
